Swing Speak (Swing). Twelve years ago, after decades of backing a legion of top local and national performers, four of Washington's finest sidemen stepped into the spotlight to form Swing Speak. The musical chemistry and maturity of their early performances has evolved into something that is both distinctive and exhilarating. The Fairfax Symphony Orchestra's OTO Percussion Duo (Music). "OTO Percussion Duo" is the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra's introduction to the percussion instruments that are the underpinning for the orchestra's music. Drums, the marimba and other instruments lead children on a journey through "WHAT IS RHYTHM?" With music ranging from Bach to ragtime, the Percussion Duo demonstrates how percussion forms the rhythmic foundation of the orchestra.
